WASPS
How to Identify Wasps
Wasps are hairless, featuring a slender waist and three distinct body parts: head, thorax, and abdomen. Species like yellow jackets and hornets are vividly colored, while paper wasps have a more elongated, reddish-black appearance. Wasps build nests in trees, eaves, or underground.
Signs of an Infestation
Look for visible wasp nests in attics, under eaves, or in the ground, as well as increased wasp activity near food or trash. Wasps are aggressive when defending nests, making removal challenging.
